Association of Chinese Finance Professionals (ACFP) is a non-profit organization founded by a group of Chinese finance professionals who hold key management and technical positions in leading U.S. commercial and investment banks. All members of ACFP hold Ph.D. and/or MBA degrees from leading U.S. and Canadian universities and have at least three years of work experience.

These ACFP members, practitioners, specialize in commercial and consumer banking, online banking, asset management, capital markets, risk management, investment, trading, and financial technology. ACFP will leverage its members' rich talents and business know-how in the financial industry to bridge the gap between U.S. and China.

Our main objective is to promote cross-board business opportunities by bringing together American and Chinese financial institutions and by exchanging information and ideas. This unique role of "intermediary" is becoming more important as China enters the WTO and opens its financial market to the world. China's entry into WTO will open many new opportunities for U.S. and foreign financial institutions to expand their operations in China. At the same time, China will be able to attract huge foreign investment and to upgrade its financial system. ACFP is well positioned to undertake the challenges in assisting financial institutions on both sides. ACFP will assume a mission to aid financial institutions from both sides in achieving their business goals.

  • Joint Ventures and Business Partnerships: ACFP, with its cross-culture experience and business expertise, will help financial firms in U.S. and China build joint-ventures or partnerships.
  • Business Projects and Information: ACFP can assist financial institutions in conducting feasibility studies and serve as a business liaison. ACFP can also provide business opportunity information to financial institutions in China and the U.S.
  • Education and Training Services: ACFP will organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs to promote bilateral communication among financial institutions.
